Executive Coaching for Leaders

Approach: We seek to understand context, priorities, and goals, to establish trusting and results-oriented coaching relationships, and to help you unlock the maximum potential of you or your leaders.

We provide several types of coaching options:

  • 1:1 Coaching with Individual Leaders. We bring in coaches to work with individual leaders.
  • 1:1 Coaching with a Cohort of Leaders. We bring in a group of coaches to support the cohort.
  • Coaching Across the Organization. We work with you to design a customized coaching program for your leaders, and we bring in coaches to support the program.

Outcomes: Your leaders receive transformational coaching that multiplies leadership effectiveness across the organization.

Facilitation of Workshops, Offsites, and Retreats

Approach: We design and deliver customized experiences with the belief that every facilitated workshop, offsite, or retreat should be a catalyst for growth. Options include stand-alone workshops, offsites, and retreats, or embedded experiences within your planned event. All are inclusive of participant resources, pre-session discovery calls, session design and delivery, and post-session leader debriefs.

  • Working Genius Workshops: (half/full day, in-person/virtual): Created by leadership expert Patrick Lencioni, The Working Genius model provides instant visibility into team dynamics and a shared language and framework for how successful work gets done, leading to greater cohesion, collaboration, and productivity. Related topics (see below) may be included based on goals.
  • Offsites and Retreats (1, 2, or 3 days, in-person only): We provide facilitation for leadership and team retreats and offsites, all custom designed to ensure an exceptional experience that fosters team cohesion, clarity, alignment, and strategic focus. Topic Descriptions:

  • Working Genius: We provide customized individual reports, pre and post-session leader debriefs, a map of your team’s strengths and potential weaknesses, an in-depth overview of the model, a team map debrief to leverage talent and productivity, simple and practical approaches to more effective meetings, a customized leave-behind playbook for your team, and facilitation by a Certified Master Facilitator. Your team will develop team norms to sustain alignment and momentum. Related topics (see list below) may be incorporated based on your goals.
  • Creating Shared Vision: We guide leaders through a powerful HPI-designed framework and discussion, designed to give insight on common barriers to creating shared vision, increase communication competence with the 4 building blocks of shared vision, and build confidence in creating sustained buy-in and alignment among those they lead.
  • Healthy Conflict: We facilitate a conversation about healthy conflict, discuss typical sources of conflict, evaluate location on the conflict continuum, learn about entering the danger and speed of recovery, practice a conversational model for requesting change, and establish conflict norms to sustain the effort.
  • Strategic Planning: Consulting services for leaders/teams in need of strategic planning and strategic momentum for their team, organization, or initiative. Post-strategic planning support may include coaching for leaders with a focus on creating shared vision and buy-in.
  • Cultural DNA: Cultural DNA consists of 3 things: your core purpose (why you exist; why your organization matters), your core values (your non-negotiable values that describe the behaviors you value most – and provide clarity on behaviors you won’t tolerate), and your core decision filters (the filters or criteria you use that guide all your most important decisions in line with your strategy). If you’re not intentional about building your cultural DNA, it could end up undermining your strategy and vision instead of supporting it. Once established, your cultural DNA cascades to support and reinforce stronger team culture.
  • Rally Cry: A Rally Cry answers the question, “What’s most important, right now?” It provides a driving focus for specific objectives to be accomplished within a specified period of time (typically btwn. 3 – 9 months), and it keeps teams clear and aligned while driving progress through a dynamic and effective meeting approach. Once a Rally Cry is achieved, the next one is set, each serving as a basecamp towards the summit (your big future goal). 
  • Organizational Health: First pioneered by leadership expert Patrick Lencioni in his best-selling book, The Advantage, Organizational Health (OH) is an approach now championed by organizations around the world as a fast and practical approach to reducing organizational politics and confusion while increasing organizational morale and productivity. The 4 Disciplines of OH include four simple but challenging steps any organization has to take to get healthy: 1) Build a behaviorally-cohesive leadership team focused on collective results. 2) Get them completely clear and aligned on the answers to six critical questions. 3) Overcommunicate that clarity throughout the organization. 4) Reinforce clarity through meetings and other human systems. Our Approach

Our approach is rooted in the four Ds: Discovery, Design, Delivery, and Debrief.

  1. Discovery calls to understand context, goals, and roles; uncover leader priorities for key challenges or opportunities; and discuss desired wins and mutual expectations.
  2. Design of strategic, structured approaches to begin creating your desired transformation for your leaders, teams, and/or organizational culture.
  3. Delivery of proposed services to accomplish desired outcomes.
  4. Debrief of delivered services to explore outcomes, lessons learned, and actionable insights, and to provide guidance on sustaining the work.
