If you’re here, it’s because you believe better is possible. But trying to change your leadership or culture without a clear strategy is a recipe for exhaustion and frustration.
As a leadership coaching and consultancy group, we empower growth-seeking organizations and leaders like you to change the status quo and build momentum towards your desired future.
Our purpose at HPI is to make work better for everyone by providing growth-seeking leaders and organizations with a strategic, structured approach to leadership development, team performance, and culture alignment. Making work better for everyone isn’t just the smart thing to do. It’s the right thing.
In his journey as an executive coach and consultant with leaders and teams across a broad range of sectors and organizations, Jonathan Bissell has seen firsthand the power of great leadership to drive thriving, successful organizations – and the inevitable confusion, conflict, and burnout caused by inconsistent leadership and unstructured culture change.
Based on his experiences, Jonathan’s approach is one of ‘practical empathy’ combining encouragement with strategic, structured support that leads clients from aspiration to intention to consistency.
As CEO of HPI, Jonathan’s deep desire is to make work better for everyone by helping growth-seeking leaders and organizations change the status quo to foster effective leadership, develop team cohesion and productivity, and cultivate sustainable culture alignment.

"I can always count on Jonathan to cut through the clutter and noise of an issue to clearly articulate the larger patterns. His gift is to listen to the details of a topic or challenge and not respond to the details. Rather, challenge everyone to up their game to think about what is really at play. Not only does he make the insights clear, but also actionable. You can find people that can give you input on a topic. It is much harder to find someone who can help you make some sense of it."
